About Us
Making the World Better, One Step at a Time
Helper Medical Missions, a non-governmental organization founded in 2023 by Dr. Chrisbel Dafeamekpor, provides essential foot and ankle surgical services free of charge to people in Ghana suffering from congenital deformities or traumatic injuries. Originally from Ghana and now based in Bradenton, Florida, Dr. Dafeamekpor established this mission out of a deep commitment to his home country and the African continent. Partnering with New Crystal Medical Mall in Ashaiman, Ghana, our dedicated team of volunteers and healthcare professionals works tirelessly to deliver life-changing care to those who need it most, addressing a critical and often overlooked area of medical support.

Our Approach
We organize mission trips to Ghana, where our team of dedicated medical professionals performs surgeries and provides post-operative care to individuals in need. Each mission trip is carefully planned to reach underserved communities and deliver the highest standard of care. Our goal is not only to perform surgeries but also to educate local healthcare providers and empower communities to continue providing care long after we leave. Services offered include:
- Surgical correction to complex congenital or acquired deformities of the foot and ankle
- Surgical management of acute traumatic injuries of the lower extremity
- Club foot management
- Purchasing national health insurance for the elderly in remote villages in Ghana
